I just completed my 19th year teaching middle school science. Whether it was a spiral curriculum or a specific focus like physical, it seems I've taught the gamut! Here you'll find activities that I've used with my inclusion classes, meaning I've had a classroom of general ed students along with gifted learners, ESL/ELL students as well as those in special ed with extensive IEPs.
I'm a very visual learner so many of my activities and presentations are colorful and full of images to enhance the concepts. I try to structure my classes with some sort of warm-up, a presentation (PowerPoint, flipchart, or video with accompanying question sheets), individual student practice, and cooperative group work. These activities will soon be uploaded to TpT as well.
