I'm not a teacher. However, my wife is a wonderful ASL high school teacher—in my humble opinion. There's not too many things for her to hang on her classroom walls dealing with sign language. That's where I come in. I'm a graphic artist. I love creating things for my wife's classroom. My guess is you may want some of them for your classroom too!
My wife is a firm believer in the "voices off" policy from day one. It took her a few years to work up the courage to do it, but she has never looked back. Even though I don't sign, there are times I find a "voices off" policy keeps our marriage happy.
She just completed her Masters in Education in 2012. I'm so proud of her. No time off from teaching while she was doing this either!
She is qualified to teach English, English as a Second Language, and American Sign Language.
I am willing to entertain any suggestions you may have for a classroom poster or ideas. Send me a message! Also note: I have a category for general classroom items and Shakespeare that some of you may be interested in. See my facebook page at www.facebook.com/theASLclassroom
