TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I was an elementary teacher in the state of Colorado for 20 years. I taught 1, 3 grades in Lancaster, NY for three years. My experience is in K-4th grade, but I have taught 1st grade for the last 16 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in creating an environment where students are taking risks in their learning to become independent, life-long learners. My activities and lessons are planned so that students are learning to be critical thinkers. I love providing hands-on experiences and integrating technology into the curriculum.
