TEACHING EXPERIENCE

With my feet firmly planted in the world of education for nearly 20 years, I've braved the unique challenges of special education. You know, those places where lamination, velcro, and caffeine are my trusty sidekicks. I've tackled the daily chaos with a grin (or a sugar-induced grin), and I've got the resources to prove it. My materials are like the Swiss Army knives of the classroom – they support your special education "Mission Impossible" and help you... well, make it possible!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Welcome to my world of structured learning where I add a sprinkle of rainbows and glitter to the classroom. My approach is all about scaffolding the journey, ensuring every student has their own unique path to success. No two students are alike, and I embrace that! I'm your partner in crafting individualized outcomes, making sure everyone reaches the finish line with a sense of accomplishment and a little sparkle too.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I've been fortunate to receive recognition from school districts in both Texas and Wisconsin, making it an even bigger honor to serve educators and students. My expertise has taken me to numerous Regional Education Service Centers across Texas and various school districts, allowing me to share insights and resources with the education community. Additionally, I'm proud to be the Featured Creator for the Literacy Education Program employed across the State of Texas, particularly designed to empower students with Low-Incidence Disabilities. It's a privilege to contribute to their educational journey.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

M. Ed. in Instructional Design and Technology with a history of working in Curriculum and Instruction.
