TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently teaching high school Biology, but have over 13 years experience creating and writing lesson plans that call for total student- engagement for 7th, 8th, and 9th Grade Science. Much of my creations focus on ELL learning in Science but can be used as a scaffold for any learner.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My lessons and activities are designed to make the students participate by thinking, discussing, reflecting and essentially...doing all the work. At the end of the work day...I am exhausted because I've been walking and monitoring...not because I've been talking and standing at the front of the classroom.
