I have 30 years of teaching experience. Two of those years were teaching grades 7 and 8; 26 have been at the high school level. I have taught and currently teach a variety of Language Arts and Literature classes. I love to keep my courses fresh and exciting with interesting projects, lessons, and parties. I hope you find value in my resources. I take great pride in bringing you my best, most meticulously edited work. Thanks for visiting my store.
My teaching style centers on high levels of student engagement and challenging but fair material. I feel most successful when my students' curiosities are stimulated. As a result, I'm always hunting for new materials to help enrich my lessons! I often draw on current research, podcasts, and documentaries. The topic that has ignited my fire this year is that of "hubris." Other recent topics of interest to me are food politics, the Arab Spring, the Occupy Movement(s), the science of happiness, social psychology and the psychology of survival. I find ways to tie these topics to the literature units that I teach. I welcome emails if you'd like to know more!

Not only am I a teacher, but I'm also a wife, and a mother of two. My dream is to someday buy a little house in the country, raise a little garden, have chickens, and ride horses. About my pricing--I know that my pricing may be a little higher than other teachers selling on this site. Please know, however, that what you are getting are products that have been refined and edited over several years' time. A great deal of time, effort and revision has gone into the products I sell. I am deeply grateful that you have chosen my work over what else is available, and I am confident that it will be valuable to you for years to come. If you are just starting out as a teacher, or have taught for many years, you will find my products valuable (and hopefully inspiring) additions to your courses. Sincerely, thank you for visiting my store.
