TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I started teaching in 2004. I hold two masters degrees. One is School Administration and one in Library Media Science and I am a Nationally Board Certified Teacher. I was a classroom teacher, an instructional coach, and I am currently an elementary school librarian.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is interactive. I like to get my students up and moving and use creative ways to reach my students.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I was selected as my elementary school’s teacher of the year in 2008-2009 school year. In 2016-2017 I was selected as my school's teacher of the year and District Teacher of the year. In 2020 I was selected as my school, and district's teacher of the year. I went to compete at the state level and was selected as one of the 4 finalist for Arkansas State Teacher of the Year.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. I have my Masters in School Administration and Library Media Science.
