I have been a teacher for over 6 years and I in specialize English, Politics and Law. I started my career teaching grade 11 and 12 English at a private Christian College. Since joining the Peel District School Board I have worked in a variety of English classrooms; grades 9-12, academic and applied, essential, GLE, ESL, Spec Ed, etc. I have also had the opportunity to teach Geography, Art, Business, History, and Law and am always up for the challenge of new subjects.
I am an adaptable and dynamic teacher. I am always available to my students when they need me, whether it is school or personal concerns. I enjoy creating an engaged and active classroom where students feel like they can comfortably share their opinions in an open and respectful manner. I encourages students to engage in debate in a variety of social and literary ideas.
Over the past few years, I've received momentos from students that have been wonderful reminders of their appreciation and hard work.

I love to travel and have had the opportunity to visit places in the Caribbean, New York and Chicago, and many cities all over Europe including Vienna, Budapest, Paris, Barcelona, Stockholm and more. Although more than anything I love to go back home to Serbia. I also enjoy reading in my spare time, and when inspiration strikes writing and collaborating on Medium (a great publishing platform).
