I’ve been a classroom teacher for the past 19 years, but it wasn’t until I was transferred into first grade twelve years ago that I truly found my calling. Seeing the growth children make in their reading and writing skills in this one year is amazing. I’m able to witness the beginning of their educational journey and I hope I’m able to nurture a love of learning in the process. I’ve always enjoyed created materials to use in my classroom, but joining the TpT community has inspired me all the more. I love being part of a group of educators that are always looking for ways to improve upon their craft. You are ever evolving as an educator and I can’t wait to find out what happens next.
I want children to love to come to school. I like to make learning fun and interactive.
I was given the biggest honor when I was blessed with my two kiddos. My son and daughter are the best awards I have received thus far.
I have a MS degree and Specialist Credential in Reading. Language Arts is what I truly love to teach.
I teach in sunny southern California. I love that each year I have a diverse group of kids, supportive parents, and an amazing team to work beside. Facebook: The Imagination Nook Instagram: theimaginationnook Pinterest: The Imagination Nook
