Years of experience in the field have taught us that engaged and motivated students are learning students. We therefore utilize the enjoyable and effective medium of song to facilitate learning wherever possible. Children not only LOVE to sing, they also LEARN what they sing, and to that end, we co-write and publish song-based teaching resources that support and integrate key curriculum areas of classroom learning: *Literacy *Social Studies/Society & Environment *Science & Technology *Life Skills & Values *Creative & Performance Arts *Health & Physical Development Their curriculum-based content makes the songs perfect for: *Introducing new units of work *Kick starting discussion *Summarising and reinforcing content *Aiding recall of important information *Extending literacy *Assembly & performance pieces…

I'm Irish-born of very loving Irish parents, and am one of 5 siblings (3 sisters and one brother) - 3 teachers, one nurse (theatre sister), and an entertainer. I credit my father, an inspirational teacher (high school, Head of English Department), for my love of teaching, writing, singing, and the English language. I am happily married and am the mother of 3 beautiful children (one deceased). I have sung all my life and have been a member of one music group for nearly 30 years. I am also a member of a Cantor Club (the musical kind). I believe in the importance of helping children to develop their hearts as well as their minds, and for this reason, our curriculum songs are also value-based. I write a blog called, 'SING TO LEARN' about integrating song across key learning areas of the school curriculum: http://wwwkeystonecreationscomau.blogspot.com.au/
