TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I began teaching in 2013 with my first teaching job out of college.. I absolutely ADORE the third and fourth grade and I feel so blessed to have landed the perfect position teaching magnet third graders. I received my bachelor's in elementary education from Saint Leo University this past May, as well as my endorsement in both reading and ESOL.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I truly believe in cooperative learning and Whole Brain Teaching. The amount of knowledge gained from their peers far exceeds the amount they would receive from me standing up in front lecturing all of the time! I also have no shame in dressing up, acting, or doing whatever it takes to make sure my students understand. The more exciting it is, the more they learn!
