I began my career as a Speech-Language Pathologist. After moving to North Carolina, I received my degree in Middle Grades Mathematics. I continued my education and now have a master's degree in Middle Grades with a focus on Mathemetics. I also am a National Board-Certified Teacher. I have worked in a variety of positions, an intervention specialist, a classroom teacher, and skills plus. Teaching in so many capacities has brought me great understanding for students. Teaching and creating fun, interactive lessons is my forever passion!
I am constantly looking for new and exciting ways to engage students and help them learn. There are so many different people in the world and so many different ways to learn, I couldn't possibly pick just one! Whatever style puts a smile on my students face and causes them to learn, is the learning style I use.
