I also have a wide breadth of personal experiences with Deaf Education that aid in my individual understanding of audiological equipment, teaching practices, learning styles and learning preferences for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired, as well as for students with special needs; which allows me to establish deeper levels of respect with each of my students, their families and the staff that I serve. I come to you with 15 years of experience as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing/Teacher of the Visually Impaired in both, the classroom setting and as an Itinerant Teacher. I’ve achieved a Bachelor’s Degree as an Intervention Specialist in the area of Deaf and Hard of Hearing, as well as a Master’s Degree in Special Education.
