Armed with a Masters in Reading Education, I started my professional career in an inner-city school. I taught various grades at this school for two years, eventually settling into fourth grade room. After a highly successful two years, I made the transition to an ELA position in a middle school located close to home. I've been here ever since, and I couldn't be happier!
I'm lighthearted and fun; I love lessons in which students can laugh and play while learning. I believe in using multiple learning styles to teach every major concept. In the middle grades, I believe collaboration is key to student engagement and lesson success.
Teacher of the Year, every year, for infinity.
