I am 5th grade teacher in a rural area in southeastern Indiana.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I don't like my students to do a lot of sitting. I like for us to be up and moving, while we learn. We also do a lot of craftivities in our classroom.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I was the first teacher at our school to introduce guided math as a differenitated piece within our math block. Now, my whole team is trying guided math, and seeing the benefits of having the program. Guided Math is AMAZING!
