More than 20 years teaching in California
Extensive experience at the middle and high school levels
I have taught history for the past ten years but before that, I taught Spanish at both high school and college levels. I'm also licensed to teach science and elementary school!
I believe in immersing students in a content-rich experience and in engaging them in fun activities. The most learning often occurs when they don't even know they are learning -- they are just having fun with well designed activities and games!
U.C. San Diego Distinguished Teacher Award
Voted "Most Honorable" by student body at the high school where I currently teach.
