Welcome to "Education Island"! My name is Lora Randles. I'm certified in K-6 elementary education and 7-12 English Language Arts. I have taught at all levels, primary grades, middle and high school. My husband, Jim Randles, is a secondary social studies teacher with teaching experience in both the middle and high school. He has also taught English in Poland. We have a combined 48 years of experience. We are both currently employed at a public middle school where we teach middle school ELA and social studies respectively.
For us, education is more than a job; it's a way of life. We find it is always with an eye out for the classroom that drives our travels, pleasure reading, and life. As a married couple and parents, we are devoted to instilling a love of learning for both our children and our students. We share a common philosophy of guiding active learning and always challenging our students to become their very best. We have worked extremely hard over the years developing and implementing lessons that have been exciting to watch come to life. We truly hope you find meaningful lessons, simulations, activities, and more. Everything Is Awesome!
