TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Rev up your classroom and drive up standards! Sorry about those puns for my store, Dan's History Highway. Couldn't resist! I love my TPT store because it gives me the chance to share resources I've made over a 25 year teaching career ... and also to receive thrilling feedback (it always makes my day to read a nice review). l've authored IGCSE and IB History which you can find on Amazon and my lessons are mostly pitched towards high school students. Like you, I'll be in the classroom tomorrow and I'm also an examiner. Wishing you a terrific day lovely people.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in a balance between knowledge and skills and my lesson resources reflect that. Expect precise historical detail (names, dates, statistics, quotes, people, places) and a focus on skills (change and continuity, cause, consequence, interpretation, and significance). When I teach I aim to be active, empowering, thoughtful, intelligent, and creative.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I am especially proud to have been a recipient of the HM Queen Mother Great War Scholarship,
