TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently working in a public school in Tx. I have been teaching 4th grade for the past several years. I have experience in homeschooling, co-ops and enrichment programs, private schools and public school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use multiple techniques to keep my students engaged, in learning. I love when they collaborate! I usually have work in levels to gain differentiation. This means some of my products will have tiered options, others may not.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Member: Kappa Delta Pi, Phi Theta Kappa, Texas council for Social Studies Teachers Volunteer work: SaddleLight Center for Special Populations, Junior Achievement

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated with my bachelors from Texas A & M University, and finished my Masters degree at Walden University.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

When I am not working in the classroom,I love to go horseback riding. This is my passion! I have 4 horses, 1- very old Mustang (who is just a pasture ornament); and 3 mares all of whom I love to ride.
