By Combat Boots to Teacher Roots I have been teaching in my 3rd grade classroom for the last 4 years. I have also taught Bachelors level courses at a university and have also taught courses in the Army. I have also coached sports.
I teach from an open heart and open mind with high expectations, lots of structure, and an Army mindset to be the very best version of yourself every day. I teach my core values of Grit, Respect, Accountability, Poise, and Heart through my daily interactions with my students and colleagues. In our classroom, every one is equal and every one gets an outstanding educational experience tailored to their unique learning style and needs.
In the Army I received awards for my dedication to the mission, job, and leadership.
I have a Masters in Teaching with endorsements in English Language Learners and Elementary Education. I also have two Bachelors in Psychology and Criminal Justice.
