I have been teaching for 19 years and have worked with students in grades 1-3. I am currently a teacher and team leader for the third grade. During summer months, I am adjunct facutly at Plymouth State University.
I believe in learning by doing! I am a huge advocate of arts integration and differentiated instruction. Helping my students make real-world connections to what they are learning is also important to me.
I was honored with the 2008 Milken National Educator Award for the state of NH. I have also been nominated for NH Teacher of the Year, as well as other local teacher recognition programs.
I received by Bachelors and Masters for the University of New Hampshire. I recently earned my CAGS degree from Plymouth State University.
I enjoy sharing my love of teaching through online work, teaching workshops and now this new endeavor! :)
