I am an elementary Curriculum Facilitator with 26 years of teaching experience. I have taught in grades 1st, 3rd and 4th and have now assisted teachers with improving instruction in all elementary grade levels. I love creating quality resources that help elementary teachers increase student engagement, both in the classroom and at home.
I love to create lessons that are engaging and strongly aligned to the standards we are charged to teach. I think students must have lessons that are differentiated to their unique needs. Every teacher needs many approaches to teach any standard, because all children are unique.
Growing Future Leaders. I have also led professional development workshops for teachers in my school and for my school district.
I have Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Ball State University. I also have a Master of Arts in Education and Rank I in Elementary Education from Western Kentucky University. In addition, I have a K-12 endorsement for Gifted and Talented Education that is also from Western Kentucky University.
My husband and I have been blessed with five beautiful children that keep us very busy. When I am not working, I spend my time with my family, playing games, or reading. We also love to travel!
