I have taught 4th grade for a total of 7 years; 6 years I spent in high ability and 1 year of general education at low-income schools in central Indiana. I love the content, independence, and love of learning that fourth grade has to offer.
I like for my students to do more hands-on activities instead of sitting and listening to me lecture. Collaboration and a genuine investment in what they are learning is what my goal is for my students. I want to instill in them a love of learning.
