Are you showing a video or movie and need an accompanying activity for students to complete? Well look no further!
This document will work with ANY video or movie. It has three sections:
-Before Viewing (activating prior knowledge)
-While Viewing (basic note taking of new facts)
-After Viewing (summary writing, personal reaction, writing questions, evaluating the video, relating it to the essential question for the day, drawing a memorable scene)
This would also work great for differentiation

This is an assessment for the A & E Biography, "Mark Twain: His Amazing Adventures". It asks students to make inferences from their reading, from Twain's life experiences, and from their class discussions, then apply that knowledge to the questions on the assessment. The questions for this assessment are more rudimentary than I normally like to ask, but hey, every once and a while, it's nice to throw the kids a bone. And, I mean that idiom in the best way :)
