Biography Timeline Graphic Organizer Template
I always tell my students that a biography is the story of a person's life, as though a timeline was put into narrative form. For their upcoming writing project on a historical figure, I plan to have them prewrite by turning their research into a timeline. The hamburger writing method is a great way to explain to your students how to organize their writing. My favorite catch phrase in my classroom is "Don't give away the meat and the cheese in the introduction." This resource gives five options and resources in one.
