Give Someone a Proper Compliment Using "You're"
My students struggle with using "your" and "you're" correctly. I see "your awesome," "your great," and "your my best friend" in their written communication. I tackled the issue this year with a classroom wall display of "Give Someone a Proper Compliment Today." These posters could also be used as an effective mini lesson in a writers' workshop. I hope these posters make an impact on my students and yours this year!
