This is a great scaffolded graphic organizer for students to use when they are developing a written essay. Oftentimes, I find my students often need more support than just a blank essay template, so I created this scaffolded organizer with models of thesis statements and topic sentences. I also included examples of transition words that can be used in each part of an essay.
