Grocery Store Flyer - Sorting Activity
You'll need to have grocery store weekly circulars for this activity. I save the ones I get in the mail each week and bring them to school so I always have a stockpile.
Students each get a grocery store flyer. They cut & paste items to fit each category. They will need to write the cost next to it and figure out the total cost for each category. Depending on the students and ability levels, I may allow them to use calculators for this.
