Growth Mindset using Calvin and Hobbes Comics
Students read two Calvin and Hobbes Comics to deepen their understanding of the concepts surrounding Growth Mindset (use this article to support this task) and then explain in a short response (this resource/ structure can help struggling students). There is a scaffolded version included with sentence stems, vocabulary definitions and guiding question for students who need support. This resource would be great as an Entrance Slip, Exit Slip or Homework.

Celtic Creative Writing
In this writing project, students select a famous Irish myth from a provided list, briefly research their myth, and complete a creative writing task involving their myth, following the prompts given in the directions. Students also will create illustrations to accompany their creative writing in this project. Great for St. Patrick's Day or a Myth & Folklore class/unit, this fun activity pairs well with the "Celtic Mythology-Quickwrite" also available in my store!
