QFT Lesson Plan/Question Formulation Technique
This lesson is based on Question Formulation Technique or QFT, which prompts students to study an image/artifact, and then work in groups to develop questions based on that image/artifact. The image focused on is a photo of a museum exhibit that deals with the history of Pompeii. All components of a formal lesson plan are included. There is an extra lesson that can be done on day 2, or you can just use the first on to engage students in the QFT. You can also modify and edit it as you wish. Yo

Feelings and emotions cards
This set of cards include images of people expressing a range of feelings and emotions including impatience, relaxed, proud, unwell, bored, jealous, hungry, annoyed, surprised, scared, embarrassed, shy, excited, cross, cranky, sleepy, angry, sad, happy, silly, nervous, confused, confident and concentrating. These can be used to support learning about emotions. Print of two copies and laminate and cut out the cards. Use them to play snap, memory, even celebrity heads with a feelings theme.
