MSDS Student Summary SheetThis MSDS Summary Sheet is a great way to review the importance of safety and awareness in a lab (and elsewhere). The MSDS Summary Sheet allows students to highlight & filter important information - that is essential for lab preparedness - while working with potentially dangerous substances in a laboratory. Students use this to summarize actual MSDS sheets in order to prepare for upcoming labs. In higher level science courses, I assign this task as part of the stu

Distribute daily starter to students on Monday. Students will complete the assignment during the first 10 min of class on a daily basis, Monday –Thursday. This is optional but in my classroom each daily assignment is worth 25 points to be added for a final grade on Friday. This is an amazing classroom management tool and allows you time to post attendance and check/pick up homework. Students have an assignment as soon as they walk in to the classroom.

Science Expirement

This is an easy science experiment to do with early science learners. The packet was developed to use as a tool for students to make observations and predictions as to what will happen when grapes are put into the sun. For this project you will need grapes and a sunny place to put the grapes. It should take about a week for your grapes to transform into raisins. With this activity you can also discuss with your students physical change. I recommend using this for K-1 students.
