Project/problem based learning is a great way to teach science and have your students learn through discovery. This bundle includes PBLs that teach force and motion, ecosystems, and meteorology. In the force and motion PBL, students design a roller coaster to illustrate different key content vocabulary. While doing the meteorology PBL, students research different locations in the world and create a weather report script. In the ecosystem project they will research the causes and effects as well

Oceanography Unit-Exploration, Pollution, Technology,Benefits/Disadvantage,Floor
This complete 5 lesson unit covers the basics of oceanography. Included are handouts, photos of final products, QR codes, and foldable. Students will create a large booklet using a folder or large construction paper. After each lesson, they will place their product in the folder. At the end of the unit, students will have a folder full of information about oceanography. Students will use technology and QR codes to research information and perform experiments.

The unit focuses on key vocabulary terms, ecosystems, food webs, food chains, a biome project, and detailed lesson plans for the entire unit. Photos of a completed folder are included.
