Here is an Activboard Activity that goes along with the printable 2D shape book and 3D shape book that students can create and read. The books are linked to the flipchart on the last page. In the 2D shape book, students will draw each shape (triangle, rectagle, square, hexagon, and circle). They will also write the correct number of sides and angles each shape has. Then they will cut out shapes that are different sizes and in different positions and match them to the correct shape page. In

A flipchart with one page: A large diagram with two sets of parallel lines and various intersecting lines. Students are challenged to find all indicated angle measurements. Must use: Vertical Angles, Linear Pair, Triangle Sum Theorem, Corresponding Angles, Alternate Exterior Angles to solve. Could be printed, splashed on the main screen or part of a math center.
