Multi-Day SMARTboard lesson for book "Uncle Jed's Barbershop"
This is a four day SMARTboard lesson to go along with the trade book, "Uncle Jed's Barbershop". The .notebook file includes 17 instructional pages with vocabulary, problem/solution, character analysis, information on The Great Depression, and more. Multiple organizers are included to be used interactively as well as links to printable copies for students.

Character Trait Fill-Ins
I created these strips for my students to fill in character traits about the characters in their book. The strips read "(Character) is (character trait) because (text evidence)". They are meant to be printed off or can be completed as a class with a common text. The words in parenthesis are written very lightly so that the students may fill in the character, character trait and text evidence that fits with their book. We filled them out and then posted them on a bulletin board to share with
