I have attached a song I use in my classroom to help students write argumentative essays. It reminds them to cite the text, use evidence, quote passages and examine counter-argument all in a fun-filled song that can be performed by the whole class! Kids remember the steps to writing an argumentative essay to the tune of Katy Perry's "Roar". The kids love it and it's a great tool to be used in any creative classroom.
