Hip Hop English Lessons
Hip hop introduction lesson for English Grade 6, Grade 7 and Grade 8. These resources are designed for an extra curricular club that helps to engage students in lyrics and therefore poetry. In this lesson we explore one set of lyrics and analyze how the writer uses similes and metaphors to interest their listeners.Could be used for before/lunchtime/after school clubs or edited to be used for lessons on poetry and figurative language.
