This is a simple worksheet I use to have students design a castle. It goes with a lesson on castles, but it could be used separately. On the front side of the worksheet there is a brief introduction to castles. Students are given the task to design a floor plan for a castle. Some common features are required, such as defensive walls, a keep, and living quarters. Students are encouraged to research more features and customize their castles, as long as their customization is historically accurate.
