December/Christmas/Winter Journal Writing Prompt Booklet
This is a 7 page booklet that features two journal entries on each page. The first is a title page, so there are 12 writing prompts. Each page has several lines for a student response, as well as a box to draw a picture of the journal entries.
These half sheets are to be cut out and given to students one at a time. At the end of the month, just before break, I like to punch holes and bind the journals for students to keep as a momento.

VEX IQ Quick Build Engineering Journal
This journal is designed to expose and introduce students to the process of keeping an engineering journal. Students may use the journal show their design process and to plan, monitor, and reflect on the process of the build and of completing a course. Students are invited to sketch, collect data, and also reflect on the essential question of "What role does robotics play in our daily lives?"
