"Old Black Fly" as a song!
When I first bought this wonderful book by Jim Aylesworth I always heard the words to the old gospel tune "Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho". I decided to create a brand new recording to be used as a Sing-a-Long book with students of all ages where the students respond with the words "Shoo fly shoo fly shoo". It is recorded at 110 mm so it isn't too fast to sing! Enjoy!

"Praise the Farmers" and original song
During the Harvest Season I couldn't find a song that celebrated farmers and their importance to our future. There were the old political songs of my youth but they were long outdated.
For years I sang 'Old MacDonald had a Farm', and 'The Farmer in the Dell' but this year it wasn't enough so I write this original melody. The visual for the book can also be found on this site.

This kid-friendly China song teaches students geography, the Shang dynasty, and the Qin dynasty. Recording sings through once at tempo, then slowly for learning the melody.
