Snowmen Bingo for Preschoolers
A big hit with all of my preschoolers! Game includes 6 bingo cards, each with 8 images of different snowmen, corresponding snowmen pictures to match bingo cards and snowflake bingo markers. Kids love all the different variations of a single item as well as the bingo markers that tie in with the overall theme.
Skills targeted include comparing and contrasting like items, paying attention to details, using descriptive language to tell about an item, turn taking and 1:1 correspondence counting.

Turkey/Tractor Trot Properties and Order of Operations Review
This activity is a review of the properties of addition and multiplication. Students work with a partner to complete problems, and with each correct problem, the receive a piece to a turkey or tractor that they will create. Students really get into "racing" with their classmates to complete their turkey/tractor. I use this with envisonMath Indiana series by Scott Foresman-Addison Wesley, grade 6 topic 2.
