Give your 1st and 2nd graders a no frills way to study their spelling words. Many teachers use this format and assign as homework on notebook paper. Some ESE students will have better success with this activity if given this form to fill in, especially those with visual processing deficits. Use with an index card to cover stairs already filled in. This will help students begin to memorize letter order in small increments.
