Smart Board Spelling with Consonants
Each Smart Board page has eight pictures, with blanks underneath each per letter in word ( ex. cat: _ a _), all vowels are provided. Students identify the picture and then use letter sounds to fill in the spaces, and spell the word. Students can say the word slowly, stretching it out to hear individual sounds. There are short easy and long more complicated words.
Smart Board Community Workers
Students match pictures of community workers with their job titles. Students sort pictures of tools, matching the tool to the worker who uses it.
