Use these interactive guided notes with your middle school students to examine key excerpts and ideas from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech. The speech is NOT included as it is copyrighted. There is a link included that will take you to the National Archives where you can view a copy of the speech.There are 6 quotes to be examined in these notes that I call Pixanotes®. The objective is to help students analyze the metaphors and look at possible meanings of these quotes.
