To add to an interactive notebook and serve as a lesson opener, I have created a very straightforward reference sheet to provide information and helpful phrases for using text based evidence in writing (fifth grade writing CCSS). Students can use this as a reference sheet while writing open responses or completing other written assignments to strengthen and organize their writing skills.
