Hippo Facts and Summary of Owen and Mzee
These resources include a lesson plan to teach about hippo facts, as well as follow up questions, matching tasks, and a fun dialogue activity. In addition, I have included a teacher-made booklet that contains nonfiction information about hippos. Finally, I have included a teacher-made summary of the story of "Owen and Mzee; The True Story of a Remarkable Friendship " by Isabella Hatkoff, Craig Hatkoff, and Dr. Paula Kahumbu.
