Fed Up Documentary Analysis for AP Language
This viewing guide for the movie Fed Up (currently available on Netflix) is divided into 3 sections, for before, during and after viewing. Before viewing, students will consider their own assumptions on healthy eating and living, and visually analyze the poster for the film. Pocahontas: Fact vs. Fiction
A packet used to go along with the Disney movie Pocahontas (although you could cut out activities and use it without the movie). Students are given background facts, two pre-reading questions, an informational text about Pocahontas, the Pocahontas poem by William Makepeace Thackeray, a graphic organizer to take notes during the movie, and a written response for after the movie. Appropriate for secondary learners. Great for sub plans. I've also included standards and objectives.
