In this lesson, students explore the life of Frida Kahlo while simultaneously learning Spanish. I used this with my K-5 Spanish students. When I taught this, I used these resources in conjunction which a few Frida Kahlo books, which I mention on the first printable. My students LOVED this lesson. Take a Break, Think, and Reflect
This is a great resource for a responsive classroom. This sheet is a reflection sheet for children to be able to take a break, think and reflect on their actions. It is important for children to be able to think about their own emotions, and how to change their behavior, and this sheet allows them to do so. It is in black and white so that it is easy to print multiple copies, and so the child can color their sheet as a calm down activity.
