Leadership Poster Project for National Honor Society
This is a project that any group interested in leadership can complete. I currently use it for National Junior Honor Society, but it can be used in National Honor Society as well. Students will interview a community leader, and will create a poster reflecting the interview. The interview is guided by the questions on the document. Students can present the final product, or it can be displayed during the months of January and February when schools celebrate American leaders.

I Have A Dream Speech Close Reading Activity
This is a reading activity I developed in my early teaching years. It is useful during Literature Circles, Reading Workshop and Close Reading. It has excerpts from Martin Luther King Junior's "I Have A Dream Speech" and 3 questions in regards to the text.
