This arts integrated math lesson shows first grade students how shapes are depicted in visual art. They have the opportunity to analyze an intricate quilt containing various shapes. Then, they will plan ( graphic organizer) and create ( quilt square) their own "quilt". A rubric is provided to for optional grading. This lesson covers math standards, visual art standards, and ASCA School Counseling Standards. Sooooo much fun!!!!
