Earth Day Read and Write Activity

For this type of resource, I like to read a book that relates to the writing craftivity before giving the students the materials. After I read a story, I ask the students questions about the related topic, in this case, it’s Earth day, recycling, etc. Once we discuss the topic, then the students should have ideas and things to write about. The book that I like to read is Change Starts with Us by Sophie Beer.  To begin the writing craftivity, the student needs to get all the materials needed.
